We had extensive reconfiguration and refurbishment work done to the house we have recently moved into, to make it more useable and up to date.
From first contact, the comms from Allison were timely and thorough, with reassurance provided throughout. Charlie and Jonny arrived to measure up exactly when they said they would and quote came back within 5 days, giving confidence that time and thought had gone in to it, and it was broken down into sections, exactly how I had requested, as we weren’t sure which parts we would be able to afford right away.
We agreed the works, there was no pressure to do more than we needed to and we got booked to start in 6 weeks time.
While we were waiting for works to start, Allison made contact a few times, to let us know that everything was still on track and to confirm minor details.
The boys arrived bang on time, we had a cuppa and walked through everything, confirming placement and style of fitting etc and then got to work.
Tidy throughout, with great communications, finished right on time, all to a really high standard, with just 2 or 3 snags which were completed on the final day of works, instead of making us wait.
The guys did a fabulous job, friendly, professional and clearly taking pride in what they do. Will definitely use them again.
Good honest and knowledgeable work. They gave a fair quote and carried out repairs to my house wall that had some subsidence cracking. The mortar and replaced bricks were all matched well. I would use them again for any other house job.

Highly recommend these guys! we are a retired couple residing in Aspley guise. We had rear extension and garage conversion completed, creating much needed space and a downstairs utility room. Charlie and Jonny are polite clean and always turned up when they said they would. Communications from start to finish were outstanding.
I can very happily recommend CB Builders and Sons having had work completed today by them. Turned up on time, tidied up well after themselves. Did a multi task interior job very professionally, and didn’t over charge. Wood work, electric, plaster, all to a high standard. Also, being a lone female I can say I felt safe and totally comfortable having them in my home. I would 100% hire them again. Thank you.

Why reviews matter to us
The majority of our work comes through recommendations, repeat customers and word of mouth. It is common for a customer to bring us back for a second project. We do not run a sales team, so the quality of the last project is what generates the next.
It also means we would rather decline a project than take on something we cannot do properly. If we turn work down, that is usually the reason.
