Privacy notice
What we collect, what we do with it and how long we keep it.
Who we are
CB Builders & Son, a building company based in Milton Keynes. You can reach us on 07930 390542 or at cbbuildersandson@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form that is your name, phone number, email address, postcode and whatever you write in the message. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits in WhatsApp under their own terms.
What we do with it
Reply to you, quote for the work and, if you go ahead, run the project. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone outside the people working on your project, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within about twelve months. Records for completed projects are kept for six years, which is how long we may need them for tax, insurance and any question about the work.
Where it goes
Form submissions are handled by our website provider, PageLaunch, and emailed to us. The website is hosted on servers in the UK.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, so we can improve it. It tells us things like which pages are read most and which areas people come from. It does not tell us who you are, and we never use it to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics sets cookies, so we ask before it runs. When you first arrive, analytics are switched off and nothing is set. If you accept, the cookies are set and your choice is remembered. If you decline, nothing is set and we remember that too. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the choice back.
We set no advertising cookies, we do not use Google Analytics advertising features, and we do not share your data with anyone for marketing. Google processes this data as our processor. Their own information is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Aside from analytics, the only other technology in use is Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. It is strictly necessary for the form to work and does not track you across websites.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cbbuildersandson@gmail.com and we will sort it. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
