What we collect, what we do with it and how long we keep it.
Who we are

What we collect
Only what you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form that is your name, phone number, email address, postcode and whatever you write in the message. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits in WhatsApp under their own terms.
What we do with it
Reply to you, quote for the work and, if you go ahead, run the project. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone outside the people working on your project, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within about twelve months. Records for completed projects are kept for six years, which is how long we may need them for tax, insurance and any question about the work.
Where it goes
Form submissions are handled by our website provider, PageLaunch, and emailed to us. The website is hosted on servers in the UK.
Analytics and cookies
This website currently sets no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and there is nothing here for you to consent to, which is why you have not been asked.
If we add website analytics in future, we will ask for your consent before anything is set, and this page will be updated to say exactly what is running and why.
The only technology in use is Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. It is strictly necessary for the form to work and does not track you across websites.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cbbuildersandson@gmail.com and we will sort it. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
